Creative and disobedient – Learning from other movements

In France, the Soulevment de la Terre built a wall on a blocked highway and held a disobedient soapbox race, the anti-globalization movement took to the streets around the world with giant puppets in the early 2000s, and in Germany the Lebenslaute orchestra played concerts in coal mines and on highways. What they all have in common is resistance to destructive large-scale projects and for a better world. With incredible creativity, protesters all over the world manage to create images that stay in people's minds and put pressure on those in power.
