“all men are cars” or toxic masculinity and car culture
In this performative mini-lecture called "all men are cars" I make parallels between toxic masculity and car culture. It talks about this strange correspondence between patriarchy and inequality that are at the same time so obvious and so invisible. I draw attention to the issues of car mobility and the kinds of harmful environments that it sustains as a result. You are encouraged to think of city space and cars though a different lens.
