No Filmschool – Filme planen, drehen, schneiden

Vorbereitung: Es ist nicht nötig eine Kamera mitbringen zu können, wir möchten den Workshop technisch niederschwellig halten und trotzdem alle relevanten Bereiche abdecken. Ein Computer ist nötig für den Schnitt, Premiere muss VORINSTALLIERT sein und es muss AUSREICHEND SPEICHER auf dem Aufnahmegerät verfügbar sein, im Workshop selbst gibt es keine Zeit das zu richten. (Vorbereitungsdauer: 2,5 Stunden)

Dieser Dokumentarfilmworkshop behandelt alle Bereiche des Filmemachens: Am ersten Tag gibt es Inputs zu den technischen Basics (Kamera, Bild, Ton), Storytelling, Bildrecht/Einverständnis und Visuellen Stereotypen. Dienstag VM erarbeiten wir gemeinsam ein Storyboard für einen Imagefilm/Dokumentarfilm über das Klimacamp, den wir Dienstag NM in voraussichtlich zweier-Gruppen drehen. Mittwoch gibt es eine kurze Einführung in die Postproduktion (online, link wird hier veröffentlicht), die wir mit Adobe Premiere Pro am Computer gestalten, sowie den Schnitt selbst. Donnerstag wird der Schnitt fertiggestellt & wir schließen den Workshop mit dem gemeinsamen Schauen der Filme.
Es ist geplant, die Videos dann auf den Kanälen des Klimacamps online zu stellen 😉

Anwesenheit: Falls 1 nur die ersten beiden Tage mitnehmen möchte geht das, sobald der Dreh beginnt, ist aber die vollständige Anwesenheit bis zum Ende aus Rücksicht auf die anderen Teilnehmenden vorausgesetzt

Mitbringen:

  • Computer (Mac/Win) mit VORINSTALLIERTEM Adobe Premiere (es gibt eine 30 tägige Testversion, Anmeldung per Mail nötig),
  • Mikrofon oder Headset (mit Mikro) + Kopfhörer  so in total 2 pairs of headphones, one with built in microphone
  • (Aufnahmegerät falls verfügbar)
  • Kamera (System, DSLR, Spiegellose, Handy) mit AUSREICHEND SPEICHER, dh. mindestens 16GB, besser 32GB,

Covid-Policy siehe unten, first PCR test needs to be retrieved latest Saturday 22 and handed in Monday 24, 8:30 am!

Covid-Policy: To ensure safety for you and everyone else during this course some preparation as well as strict commitment to the following rules are needed. Everything we are asking you to do is entirely free for you.
The overall climate-camp policy is that access to the camp will only be granted with a negative test result. As we are being very close together and indoors in the last days for postproduction, we will set the bar even a bit higher.

  • On Tuesday you will be required to show a PCR-Test. PCR Testing is very easy in Vienna, you can get test kits for free at https://allesgurgelt.at/. You will have to submit your first test on Monday 24 before 9am in a BIPA/BILLA shop, and therefore retrieve the test kits latest on Saturday 22! Only this will ensure you to have the result by Tuesday morning. If you have another way of achieving this – perfect.
  • We will ask you to have another PCR Test Wednesday Morning, so the kit needs to be posted by Tuesday 9am (you can receive 4 kits at a time).
  • Because the long time between test and result, additionally you are required to have a negative quick test (antigen) EVERY MORNING.
    If you have Austrian health insurance, you can receive test kits from pharmacies and test yourself before the course. Otherwise, you can make a free appointment at one of the locations here: https://coronavirus.wien.gv.at/testangebote/ (“Schnelltest in Teststraßen”).
    Also bring a FFP2 mask.
    We will control and document every test result every day. PEOPLE WHO CANNOT PROVIDE A NEGATIVE RESULT + FFP2 MASK WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE. This is a zero-tolerance policy.
    Be advised that it is your personal responsibility to be able to show the test results – we will not let you take part otherwise.
    We will provide a workspace outside with 1,5m distance between each person, as well as inside (teams of 2). Inside we will additionally wear FFP2 masks – as well as outside where distance cannot be maintained.
    Please make sure you limit your contacts before and on the days of the workshop – a covid cluster on the climate camp would probably be the worst case for its future.
