ENGLISH VERSION<\/p>\n\n\n\n Would you like to share your knowledge and skills with others and organize an event at Klimacamp (Climate Camp)<\/strong> 2026? To this end, we welcome contributions from individuals and groups in the form of workshops, lectures, exhibitions, information stands, discussion rounds, concerts, camping, games, skill sharing… There are few limits to the formats, and creative, diverse, interactive program items are welcome! This year’s thematic focus is on the intertwining of climate and social issues<\/strong>. The location of the camp is symbolic: in Lobau, a climate-damaging and unjust highway project costing billions is to be pushed through. Instead of making public mobility more accessible and affordable for everyone and protecting collective living space and livelihoods, the planned Lobau motorway will destroy green spaces and farmland, drive up land and housing prices, and promote destructive, motorized private transport. At the same time, there are massive cuts in social, health, and cultural services, which further increase social injustice. Savings are being made where the money is actually needed, while outdated, fossil fuel-based large-scale projects \u201cfor the business location\u201d are being pursued, which will ultimately only further line the pockets of construction and car companies and real estate speculators. We reject conspiracy theories and discriminatory content of any kind. We would particularly like to encourage people who are especially affected by discrimination in our society (e.g., FLINTA* individuals\u00b9, BIPoC\u00b2, migrants, people with disabilities) to actively participate in the climate camp and give preference to submissions from members of marginalized groups. Wir laden euch herzlich ein, eure Ideen f\u00fcr Beitr\u00e4ge f\u00fcr das Klimacamp einzureichen, das heuer von 17. bis 23. Mai rund um die Lobau<\/strong> stattfinden wird. Eine Woche lang entsteht dort ein Ort f\u00fcr Bildung, Vernetzung und Austausch von verschiedenen zivilgesellschaftlichen Gruppen und interessierten Personen. Zudem wollen wir kollektiv einen utopischen Raum schaffen, in dem wir in Gemeinschaft, Solidarit\u00e4t und F\u00fcrsorge eine Alternative zum kapitalistischen, ausbeuterischen Alltag leben.
Daf\u00fcr freuen wir uns \u00fcber Beitr\u00e4ge von Einzelpersonen und Gruppen in Form von Workshops, Vortr\u00e4gen, Ausstellungen, Infost\u00e4nden, Diskussionsrunden, Konzerten, Zelten, Spielen, Skillsharing … Den Formaten sind wenig Grenzen gesetzt und kreative, vielf\u00e4ltige, interaktive Programmpunkte sind willkommen!
Wir ermutigen explizit zur Organisation von macht- und privilegienkritischen Lern- und Begegnungsr\u00e4umen. Es ist ebenfalls m\u00f6glich, das Klimacamp als internen Vernetzungsraum eurer Gruppe\/Community zu nutzen, genauso wie Beitr\u00e4ge ausschlie\u00dflich f\u00fcr eine bestimmte Zielgruppe anzubieten.
Wir begr\u00fc\u00dfen auch Ideen, die sich speziell an Kinder, Jugendliche oder Familien richten.
Der thematische Fokus liegt dieses Jahr auf der Verschr\u00e4nkung von Klima und Sozialem<\/strong>. Der Ort des Camps ist hier sinnbildlich: Die Lobau soll f\u00fcr Milliarden ein klimasch\u00e4dliches und ungerechtes Autobahnprojekt durchgesetzt werden. Anstatt \u00f6ffentliche Mobilit\u00e4t zug\u00e4nglicher und leistbarer f\u00fcr alle zu machen und kollektiven Lebensraum und -grundlagen zu sch\u00fctzen, werden mit der geplanten Lobauautobahn Gr\u00fcn- und Ackerfl\u00e4chen zunichte gemacht, Boden- und Wohnpreise in die H\u00f6he getrieben, und zerst\u00f6rerischer, motorisierter Individualverkehr beg\u00fcnstigt. Gleichzeitig gibt es gerade massive K\u00fcrzungen im Sozial-, Gesundheits- und Kulturbereich, wodurch soziale Ungerechtigkeit noch weiter steigt. Gespart wird dort, wo das Geld tats\u00e4chlich gebraucht wird, w\u00e4hrend an \u00fcberholten, fossilen Gro\u00dfprojekten “f\u00fcr den Wirtschaftsstandort” festgehalten wird, die letztendlich nur die Taschen von Bau- und Autokonzernen und Immobilienspekulant:innen weiter f\u00fcllen werden.
Das Klimacamp 2026 m\u00f6chte den Fokus auf diese Ungerechtigkeiten lenken, Widerstand gegen den Sozialabbau sowie die geplante Lobauautobahn leisten, und sich f\u00fcr eine sozial gerechte und klimagerechte Gesellschaft einsetzen!
Neben diesem lokalen Kampf m\u00fcssen und wollen wir auch aufstehen gegen Ungerechtigkeiten auf globaler Ebene. Der Kampf f\u00fcr Klimagerechtigkeit kann nur einer sein, der sich gegen das gesamte kapitalistische Gesellschaftssystem und Imperialismus richtet. Weltweit werden Menschen im Zuge kolonialer und imperialer Projekte ausgebeutet, unterdr\u00fcckt, vertrieben und ermordet- Projekte, die der Aufrechterhaltung und dem Ausbau von Herrschaft und Profit dienen. Wir m\u00f6chten deshalb Raum machen f\u00fcr antikoloniale und antiimperiale K\u00e4mpfe, zu einer Auseinandersetzung mit diesen anregen und uns mit ihnen solidarisieren. Am Klimacamp 2026 sollen verschiedene antikoloniale und antiimperialistische Gruppen und Perspektiven Platz haben, um sich auf vielf\u00e4ltige Weisen einbringen und sichtbar machen zu k\u00f6nnen.
Wir freuen uns auf Programmideen zu den Themen Lobau, Klimagerechtigkeit, Sozialem\/Sozialabbau, Antiimperialismus, Dekolonialit\u00e4t sowie zu verwandten Bereichen! Auch wenn eure Expertise vielleicht nicht unmittelbar in diesen Themenfeldern liegt, ermutigen wir euch, kreativ zu werden und eure Inhalte mit unseren diesj\u00e4hrigen zu verbinden!
Verschw\u00f6rungserz\u00e4hlungen und diskriminierende Inhalte jeglicher Art lehnen wir ab. Wir m\u00f6chten insbesondere Menschen, die in unserer Gesellschaft besonders von Diskriminierung betroffen sind (z.B. FLINTA*-Personen\u00b9, BIPoC\u00b2, Migrant*innen, Personen mit Behinderungen) ermutigen, sich aktiv am Klimacamp zu beteiligen und bevorzugen Einreichungen von Angeh\u00f6rigen marginalisierter Gruppen.
Die Workshops sind auf 2-3 Stunden angesetzt und finden an Orten auf dem Camp statt, die Platz f\u00fcr ca. 20-30 Personen bieten. Die Anfahrtskosten werden erstattet und eine Aufwandsentsch\u00e4digung ist m\u00f6glich. Die Sprachen am Camp sind vorwiegend Englisch und Deutsch, wir freuen uns aber \u00fcber Bewerbungen in allen Sprachen! We warmly invite you to submit your ideas for contributions to Klimacamp, which will take place this year from May 17 to 23 in Lobau<\/strong>. For one week, it will be a place for education, networking, and exchange between various civil society groups and interested individuals. We also want to collectively create a utopian space where we can live an alternative to capitalist, exploitative everyday life in community, solidarity, and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We explicitly encourage the organization of learning and meeting spaces that are critical of power and privilege. It is also possible to use the Klimacamp as an internal networking space for your group\/community, as well as to offer contributions exclusively for a specific target group.
We also welcome ideas that are specifically aimed at children, young people, or families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Klimacamp 2026 wants to draw attention to these injustices, resist social cuts and the planned Lobau motorway, and campaign for a socially just and climate-friendly society!
In addition to this local struggle, we must and want to stand up against injustices on a global level. The struggle for climate justice can only be one that is directed against the entire capitalist social system and imperialism. Around the world, people are being exploited, oppressed, displaced, and murdered in the course of colonial and imperial projects \u2014 projects that serve to maintain and expand domination and profit. We therefore want to make space for anti-colonial and anti-imperialist struggles, encourage discussion about them, and show our solidarity with them. At Klimacamp 2026, various anti-colonial and anti-imperialist groups and perspectives should have space to contribute in a variety of ways and make themselves visible.
We look forward to program ideas on the topics of Lobau, climate justice, social issues\/social cuts, anti-imperialism, decoloniality, and related areas! Even if your expertise may not lie directly in these areas, we encourage you to get creative and combine your content with ours this year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshops are scheduled to last 2-3 hours and will take place at locations on the camp that can accommodate approx. 20-30 people. Travel expenses will be reimbursed and an expense allowance is possible. The languages at the camp are mainly English and German, but we welcome applications in all languages! Please discuss this with us in good time so that we can organize translation if necessary.
