I’m vegan, will there be vegan food? How much will the camp cost? How do I get to camp by public transportation? Can I come to camp for just a few days? Do I have to register? I use a wheelchair. Can I still attend the camp? I want to stay overnight at camp. Can/do I need to reserve a campsite?

I want to stay overnight at the camp. Is that possible? What sanitary facilities are available on site? I don’t speak English/German. Will there be translation for me? Will there be a way to take part in the camp with children? I registered for the wrong workshop when registering. I actually want to attend a different one! How can I change this?

Yes, we cook vegan food.

Generally the participation at the camp is free of charge. If you can we would highly appreciate your contribution through donations. A detailed breakdown of our budget will be available at the info tent.

You can find all the information on how to get there here.

Of course. It’s perfectly possible to stay for individual workshops, individual days, or even the whole week—depending on your preference and availability.

No, you can just show up.

We are still in the planning and preparation phase for the infrastructure. It will definitely be possible to participate in the camp as a wheelchair user, but not all areas of the camp will be accessible. There are some areas (especially the skate park and the ‘Grube’) that are unfortunately not accessible due to the construction. There will be an accessible restroom and also the kitchen/eating space will be wheelchair accessible. Morover we’ll make sure that there is at least one workshop space that is low-barrier. If you are unsure whether you can attend the camp, please contact us via email or social media and we will try to find a solution together.

City for all camp without camping?! We lost the planned tent area due to registration restrictions. Therefore, we have set up a bed exchange in which Viesnnese people in solidarity provide spaces in their shared flats/homes for you to stay.

So will it be a camp without camping? Yes and No. We cannot provide official camp sites. Nevertheless, we know that many of you are hardy and do not expect a large sleeping luxury. So if you are motivated to look for a place to sleep on the rocky workshoparea or on surrounding open and green areas, we don’t want to be a hindrance to that 😉 Toilets, shower, electricity and food is available at the camp!

There are outdoor showers and dry, separate toilets (compost toilets).

Yes, we try to make participation in all workshops possible for both English and German speakers. Either, we find a language that suits everyone for the workshop to be held in or we can arrange a whisper-translation for you.

Yes, we try to access the camp for everyone and make participation possible. Therefore, there will be the possibility for a children’s program during the workshop times, so that you can also take part in the workshops as a person with care responsibility.

Registration helps us roughly assess interest and demand. If you registered incorrectly, it’s okay, unless it’s a workshop with an explicit participant limit. In that case, please send us an email.
