Dazu werden Parallelen zwischen verschiedenen Auswirkungen und den daraus resultierenden K\u00e4mpfen herausgearbeitet. Bezugspunkte werden der Lithiumabbau in Serbien, Portugal, Tschechien sowie Chile und Argentinien sein. Zus\u00e4tzlich besch\u00e4ftigen wir uns mit der zentralen Rolle von Lithium in der globalen und europ\u00e4ischen Energie- sowie Mobilit\u00e4tswende. Wir wollen uns dabei kritisch mit der Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette des Lithiumbooms auseinandersetzen, zentral sind dabei Rohstoffreduktion. Lokale Perspektiven m\u00fcssen partizipativ in die Prozesse der Gewinnung, Verarbeitung und Nutzung einbezogen werden, um eine Rohstoffwende gerecht zu gestalten. <br><br>\ud83c\udfaa City for All Camp <br>\ud83d\udccdWednesday, 28.05 <br>\ud83d\udd513PM <br>\ud83c\udfa4Attac \u00d6sterreich <br><br> How can a just raw materials transition succeed? <br><br> In the workshop, we will discuss aspects of lithium mining and processing, particularly in Carinthia, and place the resulting implications and contradictions in an international context. Parallels will be drawn between various impacts and the resulting struggles. Points of reference will be lithium mining in Serbia, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Chile and Argentina. We will also look at the central role of lithium in the global and European energy and mobility transition. We want to take a critical look at the value chain of the lithium boom, with a focus on the reduction of raw materials.
