 Renaturierungsstammtisch 
 \nMoore sind wahre Klimasch\u00fctzer: Sie speichern enorme Mengen Kohlenstoff und bieten gleichzeitig wertvolle Lebensr\u00e4ume f\u00fcr zahlreiche Arten. Ihre Renaturierung ist ein zentraler Hebel im Kampf gegen die Klima- und Biodiversit\u00e4tskrise. Doch wie funktioniert erfolgreiche Renaturierung? Und was muss in \u00d6sterreich passieren, damit aus ambitionierten Zielen konkrete Taten werden? Gemeinsam mit Expert:innen gewinnen wir Einblicke in Praxisbeispiele der Renaturierung und diskutieren die aktuellen Herausforderungen sowie Chancen in \u00d6sterreich. Dabei werfen wir auch einen Blick auf das Nature Restoration Law der EU, das seit 2024 verbindliche Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Wiederherstellung von \u00d6kosystemen vorgibt \u2013 und was das f\u00fcr \u00d6sterreich bedeutet. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt unseres Stammtisches liegt auf der Rolle junger Menschen: Gemeinsam mit zahlreichen Jugendorganisationen wurde ein Jugendstatement zur Renaturierung erarbeitet, das konkrete Forderungen und Mitgestaltungsm\u00f6glichkeiten aufzeigt. Der Workshop bietet Raum f\u00fcr Austausch, Diskussion und Vernetzung \u2013 f\u00fcr alle, die sich f\u00fcr den Schutz und die Wiederherstellung unserer Natur starkmachen wollen.

Renaturation round table

  Peatlands are true climate protectors: they store enormous amounts of carbon and at the same time provide valuable habitats for numerous species. Their renaturation is a key lever in the fight against the climate and biodiversity crisis. But how does successful renaturation work? And what needs to happen in Austria to turn ambitious goals into concrete action? Together with experts, we will gain insights into practical examples of renaturation and discuss the current challenges and opportunities in Austria. We will also take a look at the EU's Nature Restoration Law, which has stipulated binding measures for the restoration of ecosystems since 2024 - and what this means for Austria. A special focus of our regulars' table is on the role of young people: Together with numerous youth organizations, a youth statement on renaturation was drawn up, which outlines concrete demands and opportunities for participation.
