Der Call for Workshops ist da! Reicht Eure Ideen bis zum 5. April 2026 hier ein.
Nicht nur in der Lobau sollen für die Interessen der Reichen Bäume fallen und Lebensraum zerstört werden, sondern auch in der Sozialpolitik herrscht Kahlschlag.
Für Österreichs unnötigstes, fossiles Infrastrukturprojekt sollen Milliarden fließen und 220 Hektar Nationalpark und fruchtbare Ackerböden in Lobau und Marchfeld versiegelt werden.
Gleichzeitig ist für die, die eh schon kaum genug zum Auskommen haben in Zukunft noch weniger da. Die Sozialkürzungen betreffen vor allem die Menschen die auf tägliche Hilfe angewiesen sind, schlechte Chancen haben und Benachteiligung erfahren.
Wir fordern: keine Sparpolitik in Bildung, Sozialem & Gesundheit! Keine fossilen Mega-Projekte die komplett aus der Zeit gefallen sind. Natur, Kultur und Menschlichkeit müssen erhalten bleiben! — Für Alle!
Ob in St. Marx oder der Lobau.
Ob im Ordensspital oder der häuslichen Pflege.
Ob das Amerlinghaus oder Radio Orange 94.0.
Schluss mit dem Durchdrücken von Projekten und Maßnahmen gegen die Interessen und Bedürfnisse der Bevölkerung!
Deswegen sagt das Klimacamp in 2026:
Lobau bleibt! Sozial statt egal!
Solidarisch für Mensch und Natur und keine Macht denen, die von Ausbeutung profitieren!
Hier und überall auf der Welt! ✊

It’s not only in Lobau that trees are supposed to be chopped down and habitats destroyed in the interests of the rich; social policy is also being slashed.
Billions are to be poured into Austria’s most unnecessary fossil fuel infrastructure project, sealing off 220 hectares of national parkland and fertile farmland in the Lobau and Marchfeld regions.
At the same time, there will be even less for those who already barely have enough to make ends meet. The social cuts primarily affect people who rely on daily assistance, have limited opportunities, and experience discrimination.
We demand: no austerity measures in education, social services, and healthcare! No fossil fuel mega-projects that are completely outdated. Nature, culture, and humanity must be preserved! — For everyone!
Whether in St. Marx or the Lobau.
Whether in the hospital or home care.
Whether at Amerlinghaus or Radio Orange.
Stop pushing through projects and measures against the interests and needs of the population!
That’s why the climate camp in 2026 says:
Lobau stays! Social not indifference!
Solidarity for people and nature, and no power to those who profit from exploitation!
